Alexander Ash are currently working with a global IT consulting company who are looking for a GCP Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. Within the organisation you will be responsible for the direction and details to stakeholders, define solution to cater the next gen needs while achieving programme and projects goals

This is an exciting opportunity for any GCP Engineer who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiency's, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.

Responsibilities

• Create and engineering build the Google Cloud Platform based components and their integration
• Design and implement Google Cloud tools and technologies
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Google Cloud Infrastructure (Compute Engine, Containers, Scaling, Automation, App Engine, Kubernetes, Analytics tools, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub-Sub, IAM, VPC, Stackdriver)
• Demonstrate experience and good understanding of Google Cloud API management and developer tools

Skill Requirements

• One or more certification in Google Cloud Platform is necessary (Google Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, Associate Engineer, Networking and Security)
• Experience of deploying and running solutions (platform upgrades, rollbacks, capacity planning) on Google Cloud
• Knowledge of cloud components, virtualization, containers (Kubernetes and Google container engine) and container orchestration, middleware, Google App engine, micro-services architecture
• Good experience on developing solution using Google Cloud client libraries, cloud SDK, Data store, cloud functions for event driven processing, managing API using Google cloud end points
