Business Analyst - Business Process Design

Business Analyst - Business Process Design. I am currently working with consultancy who are delivering a large digital transformation programme for Public Sector client based in Newcastle (remote working available). As part of this programme the team has a need for two Business Analyst to join on a 1-month initial contract which is highly likely to be extended.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the organisation and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesise information.
  • Make sure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture
  • Challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose
  • Facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs

Skills Required

  • Agile working - Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
  • Business analysis - Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing services. Provides recommendations to solutions.
  • Business improvement process - Able to analyse current services and processes and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these.
  • Digital perspective - Has the ability to apply a digital understanding to their work. Is able to identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
  • Innovation - Has awareness of innovation and is able to apply this to own work.
  • Requirements definition and management - Responsible for elicitation of requirements.
  • Stakeholder relationship management - Identifies key stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and works with teams to build relationships whilst also meeting user needs.
  • User focus - Identifies and engages with users or stakeholders to collate user needs evidence.
