Infrastructure Technical Architect - Financial Services. A financial services organisation are undertaking a major technology transformation programme and have a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Technical architect to play a key role in engineering, design and implementation of networks, storage and compute solutions.

As an Infrastructure Technical Architect you will work across a breadth of infrastructure technologies, being responsible for engineering-focused problem solving with a legacy networks environment, as well as technology innovation and modernisation. This will involve both high and low level design however there is a significant hands-on engineering component to this role. This is not engineering in the sense of support but someone who can hands-on problem solve and engineer solutions within the current environment, pull together new designs and ensure they are effectively implemented. You will work be working in an infrastructure environment which is not joined up in a coherent fashion and will be working to solve this.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

  • 5+ years infrastructure technical architecture experience in the private sector
  • Ideally financial services, FTSE250 or professional services experience
  • Strong broad infrastructure experience (networks, storage, compute, voice etc.)
  • Ability to document HLDs, LLDs and requirements without support of business analysts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related subject

This is a £550-£650/day role based London initially for six months.
