Product Owner - Agile

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled contract Product Owner to join a public sector organisation through our client, a tier one consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to work and contribute to a critical national project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the vision for the product, acting as the voice of the customer.
• Implement a human-centred design approach to product development.
• Shape and manage the product roadmap and backlog.
• Ensure consistent delivery of value to the client's needs and requirements.
• Validate and test ideas through recurrent feedback loops to inform timely direction changes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative product solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise features and enhancements.
• Utilise Agile methodologies to streamline product development processes.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of product performance.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Advanced proficiency in Agile Product Management
• Strong expertise in Product Development Management
• Experience with Delivery Methods at an advanced level
• Proficiency in Agile Project Management and Agile Project Delivery
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
