Data Centre Architect - Financial Markets

A trading house are designing and building a new datacentre and associated infrastructure and have an opportunity for an experienced senior engineer with deep experience in the design, architecture, build, implementation, and deployment of high-performance data centres.

This is an opportunity for someone with extensive financial markets data centre engineering experience, which meet low latency market data and pricing requirements, who is still hands-on as an individual contributor, and can design and implement a modern data centre in a high-performance compute environment. The technology stack includes Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and Linux.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

• 15+ years infrastructure engineering experience within a financial markets context
• Proven experience designing and implementing data centres for market data / low latency environments
• Strong understanding of high-performance, GPU-based compute environments
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux (kernel), AWS, Python, Bash and C/C++
• Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a £900-1100/day contract role, based London initially for six months.
