Senior Data Engineer - Crypto/Digital

A major firm with a crypto business has an opportunity for a highly experienced data engineer to play a key role in in developing the firm's data capability and creating business value leveraging contemporary data technology.

You will be responsible in providing expertise in the design, discovery, operations, and integration of data, working across architecture, discovery using ML/AI, cloud integration and CI/CD pipeline creation, data warehousing, and data strategy execution. You will have experience across a wide variety of data disciplines, including gathering, ingestion, cleansing, searching, querying, mapping, and modelling, as well as broad and deep technology expertise, as outlined below.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

• 10+ years data engineering within financial markets and crypto/digital trading environments
• Both hands-on engineering and strategic development capabilities
• Strong cloud experience in AWS and/or GCP, with services experience for Data/AI/ML
• Blockchain or node infrastructure experience preferred
• As many as possible of: Docker, Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, Synapse, RDS, Spanner, SQL, Spark, Airflow, Python
• Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution in a relevant discipline

This is a £700-750/day PAYE role (employers taxes are paid in addition, not deducted) initially for six months. Based London.
