Project Manager - Operational Readiness - ITIL - Finance

A financial services firm are transitioning from a legacy to new technology infrastructure and have an opportunity for a Project Manager to play a key role in delivering operational readiness for stakeholder groups within the firm.

You will be responsible for defining a cutover plan, tracking risks and issues, and driving through the implementation and execution of operational readiness within a large infrastructure estate, working closely with both programme managers and service delivery managers, as well as the relevant teams receiving the change, to ensure they are ready to operate in a new, automated environment.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

• 5+ years IT project management experience within ITIL-based environments
• Strong understanding of operational readiness and cutover planning
• End-to-end project management skills, preferably Prince 2/PMP
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure operations in complex, scaled global firms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a £400-425/day PAYE role (inside IR35, with employers taxes paid in addition to, not deducted, from day rate). The contract has an office location, but is effectively remote, with travel to a London office on an exceptional circumstance (if at all, a small handful of times during the contract).
