I'm working with a top tier Financial Services client who are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of DevOps strategies and automation pipelines on an Azure Cloud Platform. The role will include building Infrastructure as Code in Terraform to deploy, support and scale infrastructure and applications in Azure. It will also include design, implementation and monitoring of their CI/CD pipelines and include tasks such as building and maintaining YAML pipelines.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Experience in a similar DevOps or Cloud Engineering Role
• Experience architecting Azure Cloud environments 3+ years
• Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform in an Azure environment 3+ years
• Experience using Azure DevOps and the use of versioning tools i.e. GIT 3+ years
• Good knowledge of scripting shell and command languages including (creating PowerShell scripts, developing Azure components) 3+ years
• Experience of writing YAML pipelines to support CI/CD processes
• Experience with the operation and infrastructure aspects of DevOps including monitoring, performance, networking and security
• Strong troubleshooting & debugging capabilities
• Experience of Mentoring more junior engineers,
• Liaising with external suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure guidelines, standards, security and specifications are maintained.
• Good communication skills - including listening, ability to clearly explain resolutions to business users
• Experience of working collaboratively, building relationships within teams across the wider business.
• Working calmly under pressure to tight deadlines whilst retaining strong attention to detail.
