Big Data Engineer

I am working with a Top Tier Investment, who are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer to work within their Market Valuation and Risk Management division. It is a unique permanent role within great time and competitive salary.

Requirements:

· Experience with Spark, Hive, HDFS and good standard of Python programming

· Knowledge of UNIX-like OS (Operating Systems) and shell, git, SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle tooling) and in-depth knowledge of SQL and one RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)

· Strong hands-on delivery track record and good communication and interpersonal skills

· Systems Programming and Cloud experience, particularly Google is advantageous

· Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics preferred or equivalent qualification

· Investment Banking background
