KDB+ Developer

I am working with a Top Tier Investment Bank on a very niche, exciting and unique opportunity that sits within the Tech, Data and Innovation Department. They are looking for a KDB+ Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create strategic solutions that consider the risk, benefits, and conflicts of the situation
• Design elegant solutions to complex problems which satisfy user & non-functional requirements
• Provide leadership and guidance to the delivery function, delivering with optimal functionality & efficiency
• Design & engineers solutions and services for Real-Time and Historical Market Data capture that will support multiple area of the Bank

Skills and Experience:

• Skilled in building productive networks to drive collaboration, re-use and knowledge sharing
• Experience in solution design tools and techniques with ability to make design decision trade-offs
• Expert in one or more technical domains applying commercial acumen in delivery approach
• Expert in kdb+/q/kx technology, tick architecture and ideally with exposure to existing projects with >100TB datasets
• Experience with financial Market Data covering Equities, FX and FIC + Familiarity with real-time and historical data from vendors such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg
