I am currently working with a large financial firm who are looking for a Data analyst (Junior/mid/senior) to join their team. My client is looking for an enthusiastic hands-on data analyst who has excellent comprehension of data analyst concepts. They're looking for someone who has the ability to pick up tasks and turn them around in quick time whilst also being able to demonstrate the ability to take direction when needed.

Core Requirements:

• VBA development (especially in Excel / Access)
• Knowledge of HR processes and procedures - beneficial
• Reporting and analytical skills with high degree of data accuracy
• Advanced SQL knowledge - Interrogation & database design
• Relational data structure design, development & optimisation
• Data Validation & Process Automation
• Application design optimisation
• Object-oriented programming - VB .NET
• Experience translating requirements into design - beneficial
• Experience developing bespoke data solutions & tools covering both reporting and data input

The Key Objectives to be achieved:

• Develop new features for the Gemini Resource Tracker
• Coordinate & prepare production releases
• Improving the existing data model where possible
• Data Management, maintaining data quality and ensuring data is securely handled
• Perform data analytics related to operating model activities
• Maintain data related to the programme
• Functional and non-functional testing of the EUC
• Supporting users of the tool

• Manage data across the programme to ensure consistency
