Project Manager - IBOR Transition

Alexander Ash are working with a leading professional services firm engaged with a global investment banking firm who are looking for a Project Manager to join the Regulatory Strategy Implementation team.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management leadership to select workstreams within the overall program.
- Prepare agenda in consultation with Global Program Manager and key members on working group.
- Lead and facilitate discussion by leveraging knowledge gathered from other working groups, as necessary.
- Review output of working group members and ensure it meets the requirements of the program; assist working group members in reworking, if necessary.
- Track progress towards goals and budget, identify dependencies, escalate issues (esp. resourcing of working group with appropriate skill-set), and provide reporting towards centralized program management.
- Engage with other workstreams to escalate dependencies and identify constraints.
- Gather inventories of systems, processes, models.
- Develop new product capability develop roadmaps.
Experience
- Excellent project manager skills, ideally with previous consulting experience from a reputable consulting organisation.
- Knowledge of fixed income derivative operations, including product types, trade booking, trade life-cycle management, clearing house relationship.
