3rd Line Support Engineer

£400 to £425

Scotland / Contract / Ref: DW5805

Alexander Ash are working with a global financial services firm based in Edinburgh. Due to increase demand, our client is looking for an experienced 3rd line support engineer with good fault diagnosis and documentation skills with experience of using Service Now.


  • Provide 3rd line support expertise
  • Provide support and guidance to 1st/2nd line analysts.
  • Troubleshoot and analyse complex CyberArk, Varonis, Symantec Endpoint (SEP, SPE, WSS) issues.
  • Manage and deploy security patches across the estate
  • Adopt industry best practices and methodologies in the proposed solutions.
  • Support projects workstreams.


  • Excellent Windows Server administration and patching experience, ideally in a global financial services firm.
  • Ideally you will have some experience of working with various security products and technologies such as CyberArk, Varonis DataAdvantage and DataPrivilege, Symantec Endpoint, One Identity Manager or Ivanti Netchk.
  • Ability to conduct research into issues and technologies as required.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good team collaboration skills.
  • Powershell scripting experience.
