Senior Java Engineer / Full Stack Engineer

We have been engaged by one of the world's largest Investment Banking corporations who operate in 70 countries with a workforce of 100,000 strong.
In their recently established Global Markets Technology group, they are looking for a number of talented Java and Full Stack Software Engineers to strengthen the team's capability. This team develop systems that drive business and financial systems world-wide, and develop award-winning solutions that drive competitive advantage for the business.
As a valued member of the Development Team, you will work with Project Managers at every step in the process to deliver solutions to a multitude of internal and external clients (from initial solution design, to technical analysis, development, testing and ongoing support)
Required Skills / Expertise:
* Deep knowledge of Java, along with understanding of both object oriented and functional programming.
* Practical experience of test driven development and behaviour driven development (including constant refactoring in continuous integration environment)
* Use of build automation tools (such as Jenkins or TeamCity)
* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP
* Experience with a range of technologies that store, transport and manipulate data
